It is fairly straightforward to invite a new user. Just go to the user management module and click/touch the ‘Add user’ button. Then you need to provide at least the users ‘email address’ and you can invite the user.
The user will receive an email, will need to set a password for himself, and is then able to use the FrostSmart web application.
As part of the invitation it is also possible to set the users permission and set the users locale.
Keep in mind that you will require admin permissions for your site to be able to add or remove users. These permissions are set by the person assigning a new user.
They should decide on the appropriate permission level for each user.
Monitor
The user cannot access user page, or change anything on the site including editing alarms.
Manage
The user can view the user page but not change anything or add/remove users. Alarms can be turned on/off and edited.
Admin
Full control, no restrictions.
Once a new user is added they will receive an email to complete the sign up process, or if they are an existing user an email notification that they have been added to a new site.
