Which alarms should be configured by default?

Canopy Fault:  If the canopy radio or temperature probe are not able to send back the canopy temperature data then the canopy fault alarm will be triggered. This should be resolved as a fan will then run off the backup temperature probe located on the engine. It will run indefinitely until stopped off manually.

Engine Controller Fault : Notify contacts when a fan is not able to start because of a fault condition.

Fan Started Alert: Alert will be triggered when the fan starts

Min Battery Voltage Alert: The voltage threshold is configured to notify when the battery is too weak to start the unit.

Min Canopy Temperature Alert: Good practice to configure an alarm when the fans are about to start. Some users configure two alarms:  One set  1° or 2°  above the fan start temps,  the other at the start temperature of the fans.

Routine Start Check Alert:  Reminder to perform the routine start check. Once a month, during the off season, start the engine and run the frost fan for at least 15 minutes, on a calm morning or evening.

Unit Offline: The Frost Monitoring Unit failed to communicate to the cloud. The system will not detect any other events for the effected sensors until the connection is restored. This could be because you have switched off the fan where the telemetry unit (FMU) is located. The FMU should be kept in monitor mode during the off season.
