FrostSmart provides a REST API that allows you to programmatically access the sensor and metric data stored in the FrostSmart Cloud. This is useful if you want to integrate your FrostSmart data into your own systems, dashboards, or automated workflows.
What you can do with the API
Through the API you can retrieve data from your sensors and units, query historical and recent metrics with flexible filtering and aggregation, and explore the structure of your sites, areas, and sections.
How to get access
The API is available to registered developers. To get access you will need:
- An active FrostSmart user account with access to at least one site
- A developer registration with a valid Client Access Key
